The plain terms

Four things we state plainly, because the whole service depends on them being true. The signed scope and acceptance list for each project sits on top of these.

What you are buying, and what you are not

What you are buying is defined source changes to one named Shopify theme, tested against the written acceptance list you approved, plus the dated record of what changed and when. You have seven business days after preview delivery to identify a failed item from that list with reproducible steps. We cure confirmed in-scope failures.

The $1,500 scope check is paid first and credited toward the $10,000 project. You keep its written scope pack even if we do not continue. We invoice no part of the remaining $8,500 until you accept the completed preview in writing.

Project acceptance, payment and permission to publish are separate steps. After acceptance, the remaining $8,500 is due before publication and final handoff. Publishing happens only after payment and your separate written permission, and your old theme is kept so going back is one click. After the stated warranty, we have no continuing duty to monitor later changes unless we both sign a separate continuing-service scope.
