Shopify accessibility remediation

What a source-code remediation project actually includes

An automated report tells you that something may be wrong. Remediation changes the code, proves the agreed result on your store and leaves a record another person can review.

First: a bounded scope

Our $1,500 scope check identifies the exact Shopify theme, representative page templates and shopping journeys. We sample automated and human tests, separate theme code from platform and app code, and write the acceptance list.

You keep the scope pack whether or not the project continues. It does not include code changes or a legal opinion. If the store fits, the fee counts toward the fixed $10,000 project.

Then: changes in Liquid, CSS and JavaScript

We pull the named live theme and preserve it as the baseline. Work happens locally and on a separate unpublished theme. Depending on the agreed findings, we may change templates, sections, snippets, styles or interaction scripts.

We do not place a widget over the storefront. We also do not claim to change Shopify-hosted checkout or third-party code that the theme does not own.

You see the proof on your own store

Each promise has an observable result and a named test method. We re-run automated checks and the agreed keyboard, zoom/reflow and screen-reader tests. A second human reviews material findings, patches and evidence.

You receive a private preview using your real store data, a source diff, the completed acceptance list and dated before-and-after evidence.

You control the remaining payment

  1. You have seven business days to test the completed preview.
  2. If something fails, identify the acceptance-list item and give us reproducible steps.
  3. We cure confirmed in-scope failures.
  4. Only after you accept in writing do we invoice the remaining $8,500.
  5. After payment, you separately decide whether and when we publish.

Your previous live theme remains available as the rollback target. Your acceptance confirms the defined technical work; it does not state that nobody can make a claim.

Does your store fit the fixed package?

The launch package covers one Shopify store, one named theme version, one English locale, up to six theme-controlled templates and up to three named journeys ending at cart. If your store is larger or materially different, we give you a changed written scope or decline the work—not a surprise invoice.
