What your Shopify theme controls—and what it doesn’t
Your Shopify store looks like one website. Technically, several different systems can produce what your shoppers see. That matters because we can only promise to repair code your theme actually controls.
The part we can edit
Your Shopify theme contains Liquid templates, sections and snippets, plus CSS and JavaScript. Together they usually control the storefront from the home page through product, collection, search and cart pages.
That is where we can repair problems such as invisible keyboard focus, menus that do not open from the keyboard, unlabeled controls, product options that are hard to understand, silent cart updates and layouts that break when text is enlarged.
We request a named Shopify collaborator account with theme access. We do not need the owner password or access to orders, customers or payments. We then pull a named copy of the theme, save an untouched baseline, make source changes locally and push the result to a separate unpublished theme. Your live theme stays in place while you test.
The part the theme may not control
Shopify-hosted checkout, third-party app interfaces, embedded payment tools, external iframes and some customer-account experiences can come from code outside the theme. Changing a Liquid or CSS file cannot repair code delivered by another company.
That does not mean the problem should be ignored. It means the scope must identify the owner correctly. We record whether each important barrier belongs to the theme, Shopify or a third party, then promise only the work we can perform.
Why we scope before fixing
A store with thousands of product URLs does not necessarily have thousands of different technical pages. The same product template may produce most of them. Our scope check groups the store into representative templates and shopping journeys, tests those states, and writes the acceptance list.
The result says which theme and locale are covered, which journeys we will test, what success looks like and what is excluded. If your store does not fit our fixed package, you keep that written scope and owe no remediation fee.
